Today was The "Family Fun Day" for the Kilzer family. For those of you that don't know my dear sweet friend Tricia Kilzer has been through a lot this year and her son Preston (5) was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. They have been through a lot and we all decided to do a fundraiser for them, a toy drive for Children's Hospital and a blood drive for Childrens as well. It was such a success and the kids had a blast. Christine Kastens and I organized the whole day and we brought in $5,000 for the Kilzers and $10,000 of toys for Childrens Hospital. I am still overwhelmed by everyones generosity and willingness to help. Here are some pictures from the day:

Dads Visit
November was such a busy month. My dad came out for a wonderful visit. The kids were beside themselves and gave him way more attention than I think he could handle. He really is such a great grandpa. We had some nice dinners out as well as some delicious "Kiet" cooked meals. Lots and lots of coffee time at Starbuks and even a basketball game for Connor.
I promise that we had nothing to do with this. My dad did this completely on his own. Connor thinks he needs a haricut.

Kiet and I took a much need romantic getaway! Grandma Debbie kindly offered to take the kids and we spent what we thought would be a sunny weekend in Telluride! We were so surprised that it snowed all weekend. It was good to share some time together without our kids. We walked in the snow and took a drive to Ouray and enjoyed the hot springs in the snow.
